I've been tattooing since December, 2001. I began my apprenticeship at biker shops in Kentucky, owned my own shop, and moved to New York City where I've tattooed since 2010. I learned to be versatile, to be versed in all styles of tattooing though I gravitate toward realism. I love challenging designs and designs that are unexpected and novel. In addition to being a tattoo artist, I'm a widely exhibited visual artist, a published writer, and a comic book creator. I'm also very politically active especially in union, environmental, and antifascist matters.
I'm currently an apprentice. I like to explore different styles such as stippling and black and gray work and to explore older approaches to tattoo designs (Americana, primitive linework, funky traditional). I appreciate everyone who helps me as I learn and practice the trade.
